Warrior's Plume
Pedicularis densiflora

Warrior's Plume flowers are hemiparasitic, meaning their roots attach to the roots of other plants for water and nutrients, but they can also use photosynthesis. They often parasitize manzanita, and at Rockville, the largest swaths of them cleverly show up along the Manzanita Trail. They can be found in many other areas of the park also.
